Week 5 Weekly Images (21-25)#oneperday2023

1.Thumbnail sketches(10 draft sketch)
MATERIAL:HB pencil

process:I chose the creatures I wanted to draw first, and then identified some of their typical angles to begin designing the photos. I start with a simple outline and slowly sketch the approximate shape of the animals with a light pencil or light brush. Then, depending on the contour, begin adding basic animal shapes such as the head, torso, and limbs. To assist you in building, use simple geometric forms. Following the completion of the preceding, begin the animal traits, such as eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and so on.

reflect:Although I have drawn the broad characteristics of animals here, I have not drawn the finer details such as hair, feathers, textures, and muscle lines. But I didn't want to waste time on sketching because I wasn't sure what photos I wanted to utilize.

3.Lino prints of the image

MATERIAL:Ink, rollers, printing machines, carved rubber blocks

PROCESS: Although I have drawn the general aspects of animals here, I have not carefully drawn more details such as hair, feathers, textures, and muscle lines. But I didn't think it was important to waste time on sketching because I wasn't sure what photos I wanted to utilize.

Reflection:Perhaps my carving skills are not very good, and my first encounter with carving was not as simple as I imagined. So the copied images are not as perfect as I imagined.

4.Digital explorations of the lion print
MATERIAL: Photo shop, In design

PROCESS: Using Lion, take a photo of the duplicated image and upload it to In Design. Then, in photoshop, use a filter to make the black color darker and fill in the vacant space with various colors.

Reflection:There were some dots since I didn't apply ink equally during printing, which resulted in disappointing outcomes after utilizing these two applications.
